IMG_4406Good evening, dollies ‘n their mommies! :) It’s later than I’d usually post, isn’t it? LOL! I had a great day, going to church and having an AWESOME church service, then getting back home to watch Little House on The Prairie while eating Chicken Alfredo and Pizza Hut pizza with my family! I hope you’re enjoying your Sunday and have a very blessed day.
Today, I’m going to show you all an awesome craft you can make for ANY doll that has hair, LOL! :) Mini dolls, 18″ dolls, barbies, anything! This is an all-around craft so I think doll-lovers of any doll will appreciate this. You will need –
•Ribbon of your choice! Patterned, solid color, or sequined and frilled!
•scissors (and an adults help with the scissors if you’d like – you’ve probably heard this a million times, but be super careful with them sharp scissors! Please don’t get hurt! :))
optional hair elastic
optional tiny clip

And let’s get started!

IMG_4407First, measure the ribbon around your dolls head. You could cut it shorter and sew it in the back for a small headband that wraps all around her head, or like in this craft, make it a little longer so each end hangs down some. Cut your ribbon to the length you’d like it, and either sew it or continue these steps!

IMG_4408Bring both ends to one side and to the front, making sure it goes behind her head and out and around.

IMG_4410You could tie the ribbon together or wrap an elastic around it like I did.

IMG_4411And there you go! Isn’t the new ribbon headband so cute? And stylish, with the ends hanging down in the front :)

IMG_4412You can even put your clip in her hair, over the ribbon and making sure it is grabbing some of the hair with it to make sure your ribbon headband doesn’t fall off her head.

IMG_4413It adds a cute touch, too! :)

Now, Celina thought she needed a mini-photoshoot and I thought so too.

IMG_4415:)

IMG_4416LOL! Celina thinks this is a swing! (the little thing you pull to raise or lower the blinds on windows)

IMG_4418Oh! Well, know it’s a rope swing thingy! LOL, Celina you better come down now ;) :)

Well I hope you enjoyed this craft! Be sure to let me know if you made it!

If you tried out this craft, which doll did you try it on? What is your favorite hairstyle to put your doll’s hair in?
