Whew!

It’s been a while! Upon coming home from our evacuation, the house was completely fine and we just had to do yard work and clear a bunch of limbs. And also replace our fence or repair it or something. Thank you so much for praying—you guys are seriously some of the sweetest people ever! Your comments never fail to make my day. You are all absolutely amazing. :’)

I’ve been a very bad Madi and haven’t even taken a glance at DWOD or MG since my last post—I hope none of you thought I was in a mid-life crisis with hurricane house restorations or anything—but you didn’t expect any different, right? Welcome to blog scheduling with Madi, where anything can happen and probably will.

I’m busy working on my novel—some of you know it as Loyalty Book I, but I’m completely revising it and Loyalty probably won’t be the name of the series. Revising it is a lot of work, and I’m learning a ton of things about the art of writing that many published authors don’t even know. :o

Studying and developing a gift is hard stuff, but I’m excited to see where God takes this in publishing. I just have to remember to slow down and wait for His timing on everything… if you know me, I love pushing the pedal through the floor and zooming right on ahead at full speed. >:)

^ What the floor of my room currently looks like. No, seriously. That’s my room. That’s also my gif.

Working on my novel as much as I possibly can has taken up most of my time, leaving me to be a horribly evil Madi as usual and NEGLECT MY BLOGS AND YOU GUYS.

GASP. OH THE HORRORS.

I do apologize. You guys are so nice and I’m so mean. After four years and ten months of blogging you’d think I’d do better.

Caught in the act of novel-workery!

But nope! I’m just your friendly—and sometimes not-so-friendly—evil neighborhood Madison. *salutes*

That said, I’m attempting to get back full-swing into working on HOTH! I just have four more parts to shoot and then I can release the first part.

I’m really excited. I wanted to post a few favorite HOTH photos I’ve shot over the past few weeks as a sneak peek until everything else is finished. Then season 3 can officially start!

Pranks. Season 3 definitely has its fill of pranks.

Yeah, she doesn’t look too happy. I would suggest running while you still have the chance.

Did a dutch braid bun on Jasmine—it’s so pretty! Buuut it makes her look younger, which isn’t exactly what I wanted since Jasmine plays Mrs. Taylor… but oh well. I had spent a while on the hairstyle and I’m impatient so it’s just gonna have to work.

Last one! I just thought Ellie looked super cute in this photo. I usually brighten my dolls’ eyes in photos (shhh I’m supposed to look good) but I left them alone in this pic.

This setting is really weird, because it has good lighting in the front and terrible lighting in the back. Boy was it a struggle to balance it out. ? Spoiler alert: I failed. The pictures will show it. ;)

Okay. I lied. Symptom of an evil Madi. This is the last photo. I’m not particularly asking you to guess what’s happening in each photo in this post, but you can if you want!

Or, if you were naturally curious like me and already planning on guessing on one or more because you’re cool, GOOD JOB.

Well, I’d better get back to working on my novel. I have two more character arcs to plot and a contagonist to flesh out before I can move on with my linear scene-by-scene outline… and then at least 150 pages of structuring to do. Yeesh! Wish me luck. ?

Don’t forget to read the reveal of the guest star if you haven’t already!

How have you been? Still excited for HOTH or nah since I’ve taken so long? Any guesses on any of the photos?

Love you guys! Praying for you as always! And of course, you can always drop me a specific prayer request at madison[at]powerofGOD[dot]com.
