Ready for the continuing of the last post? This is shorter than the first one – did you know that post, if I counted right, had ninety-five photos in it? (wow) This one has (if I counted right) only fifty-seven! :-)

~told in the POV of Chloe!~

IMG_5610…Is it morning already? I thought to myself, not wanting to open my eyes. I stared at the back of my eyelids, and then I felt sunshine on my face.

IMG_5611Yup, it was definitely morning. I hope I get adopted today…

It all came back to me as soon as I shot open my eyes. I was “adopted”, and I lived with six other awesome roommates!

Nobody else was up. Maybe I was the only morning bird?

IMG_5612I was wrong! Ellie had her eyes open. We looked at each other, and she smiled at me. Today, we start things fresh.

IMG_5613I smiled back at her. Today is going to be epic. I wonder what adventures I’ll have?

IMG_5614I jumped out of bed and pulled my slippers on. I was ready to get breakfast, and get going. Today was one of my adventurous days – like I said yesterday to the girls, it depends on the day – sometimes I’ll be quiet and be working on a good story I’m writing, or I’ll crave adventure and be out and about.

IMG_5615Ellie yawned and stretched.

IMG_5616I threw my covers over the bed and smoothed out the lumps.

IMG_5617“So, you’re a morning bird too?” Ellie asked me. I grinned. “Yup!”

“I thought I would be the only one forever!” Laughed Ellie. “Want to get some breakfast?” “You bet!”

IMG_5618Ellie showed me around the tiny kitchen, and she said to feel free to look in the fridge for some breakfast muffins or something. Ellie and I were more alike than I had assumed – we both liked adventures, we’re get-up-and-go people, and we don’t spend too much time on elaborate breakfast’s.

IMG_5619Ellie put down two plates on the tiny, temporary table. (Only two can eat at a time – luckily for use everyone wakes up at different times, with Jasmine being the last one up, so she usually eats alone :-( now that they’re an odd amount of dolls here.)

IMG_5620I scanned the shelves of the refrigerator.

IMG_5621“How does blueberry muffins and orange juice sound?” I asked. “Perfect!” Ellie replied.

IMG_5622Looks good, can be eaten fast, and filling – everything we like in a breakfast!

IMG_5623Yum…

IMG_5624*CHOMP*

That was devoured quickly.

IMG_5626Ellie showed me where to put dirty dishes.

IMG_5627And where to put the plates when they’ve been cleaned.

IMG_5628Now, to get dressed.

IMG_5630“I can’t wait to see who you look!” Ellie gushed. “You said back at the AGP, you were known as, ‘The Adventurer in Style’, right?”

“Right!” I answered. We wanted our outfits to be a surprise to one another, so on the count of three, we’d view each other’s outfits.

One, two, three!

IMG_5631“Wow! You look amazing!” Ellie gasped.

“So do you!” I laughed. “I love your style!”

IMG_5633Josefina was the next one up. “Ellie! Chloe!” She gawked at us, a bewildered look on her face. Was it really that odd that we’re smiling around each other for once? She also seemed a little bugged, but right then, I didn’t exactly know why.

IMG_5634“We made up,” Ellie answered plainly. “Oh…”

IMG_5636The commotion awakened Cécile, who exclaimed exactly as Josefina did – “Ellie! Chloe!”

“We made up,” I echoed.

“Oh…”

IMG_5637“Want to get some breakfast?”

“Sure thing,” Josefina smiled.

IMG_5638Then the two left to grab some breakfast.

IMG_5639Later that day, I encountered an adventure – an AWESOME ONE!

“So, plain and simple. Ready to give it a try?” Ellie asked me as she gave a brief example on how to ride their horse.

“Okay,” I answered much more bravely than I felt.

IMG_5640Ellie came down, and helped me up.

This is it, I wrote my autobiography in my head. My heart was pounding wildly, but I pulled myself up on the horse with confidence. I can do this! Rang in my head.

IMG_5642“Like this?” I asked, a little nervously.

Oh, this was awesome! The horse was getting unstable, and starting to neigh nervously. The drama! The action! THE ADVENTURE!

IMG_5643All of the sudden, Gingersnap BUCKED ME OFF.

Action and adventure were the last things I was thinking about.

“AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!”

IMG_5644“AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

IMG_5645*OOF*

Wow!

That was amazing!

I just got bucked off a horse!

IMG_5646“Chloe!” Ellie screeched, and ran to me. It was then that I noticed that I could barely breathe. I had the wind knocked out of me.

IMG_5647“Are you OK?!” Ellie asked, helping me up.

I could barely breathe, and I must’ve pulled a muscle in my back, but I was smiling all the while. Best adventure yet! I got bucked off a wild horse (not that wild, but hey, you gotta have the most drama ya can) and got the wind knocked out of me!

“Yeah,” I choked breathlessly, grinning. “That was awesome!”

IMG_5648“Here are your glasses! I don’t think they’re broken,” Ellie handed me my frames. “Thanks!”

“You look a little dizzy. Wanna lie down?” Ellie asked, concerned.

“Actually, I just might take you up on that offer,” I agreed, my breathing shaky.

IMG_5649Gingersnap glared at me. She truly didn’t like me for some reason!

You know what? I glared back. A playful glare, but still a glare. We’re sworn enemies! This is amazing! The drama, the action, oh gosh!

I nearly died, but I survived. My greatest foe ever, Gingersnap, was now making it her personal mission to hate me forever! And I must defy the stereotype and prove to her I’m not bad! I scribbled down everything my mind wrote in my notebook, grinning. I just lived an incredibly epic adventure, and this will be the greatest book yet!

~Now written in the POV of Josefina~

IMG_5650I have a way with animals. They calm me, and help me. I calm them and help them. We’re kindred spirits. As I rode on my horse, Gingersnap, she was silently communicating everything to me, and I talked to her.

IMG_5651“My BFF isn’t hanging out with me anymore – only that new girl, Chloe. It’s making me jealous, and I can’t help myself. I miss my BFF, and I can’t stop myself from being mad at Chloe for hogging her!”

IMG_5652“Plus, Chloe is ridiculous. I mean, did you SEE the outfit she wore when she tried to ride you? How stupid! She doesn’t know a thing. And, Ellie and I just became BFF’s this year, and now she’s ditching me!”

IMG_5653“It’s not fair, and Gingersnap, you absolutely must help me think of a way to get some time with Ellie back!”

IMG_5654We turned a corner, and Gingersnap communicated to me in a way that made me feel better – or so I thought. Gingersnap didn’t like Chloe either.

IMG_5655Soon, we devised an awesome plan for keeping Chloe busy doing other stuff, persuading her to believe Ellie was busy doing other things as well, while secretly I am spending time with her!

IMG_5656However, if the plan backfired and Mama found out, I would be in massive trouble.

IMG_5657But there’s no way it could fail – I had put way too much thought in it, plus, I’m such a good girl. (Usually.) Nobody would believe Chloe or Ellie if they found out what I was doing!

IMG_5659I hugged my horse. “Thanks, girl. You make everything better. I can’t wait to spend time with my BFF again.”

IMG_5660Chloe was on her way to lunch, and I was waiting for her. “Chloe! I heard about your fall,” I told her with fake sympathy. “Oh, yeah,” she laughed. “I don’t think Gingersnap likes me that much!”

“Oh, well, some girls got it, some girls don’t,” I smiled with fake politeness. “Maybe you should leave riding to the professionals.”

IMG_5661“Well, you know, I was thinking about maybe trying to again when my back gets better. When she bucked me, I think I pulled a muscle when I landed on my back. I want to get better at riding however, and eventually become friends with Gingersnap,” Chloe put out.

IMG_5663“Wow! I love your determination. You’re so adventurous!” I told her, gasping. Chloe’s face grinned a little more. “But you know what? In all my years of riding, I’ve learned that you bond better with the horse when you have a minor injury. The horse senses your hurt, and automatically wants to help. And just like that, you become besties!” I lied. “You should practice today. I was just riding with her, and she’s in a GREAT mood!”

IMG_5662“I might do that,” Chloe grinned. “Maybe after lunch. Is Ellie here yet? I was supposed to meet her and eat.”

“Ellie told me she had to cancel with you – she had business to take care of -um – and, bonding with a horse works better on an empty stomach anyways. You really should go try now!” I fibbed again.

IMG_5664“Bye!” I turned my back to her then.

“Um, okay?” Chloe stared after me a little, then slowly turned around, talking to herself in a weird novel-sort of way about conquering fears and riding wild horses…?

IMG_5665I felt guilt grip me inside, but I knew Ellie was coming any minute. The thought of finally spending with her kept me going.

IMG_5666“Ellie! I made some lunch for us!” I gushed when I finally saw her. “Aw! Thanks! Um, where’s Chloe? I thought we were eating lunch together.”

“She told me she didn’t want to eat lunch with you anymore – she wanted to go and get to know the other’s better, so she left.” I told her deceptively.

“Oh…really? Did, she, um say exactly why she didn’t want to eat with me?”

“Um, I believe she said something about you being so rude to her yesterday and she didn’t want to hang out with you really, you know, she’s a little weary of you. Besides, haven’t you spent enough time with her already? You know, I kind of miss it just being you a me,” I laughed nervously. I’m a terrible fibber!

IMG_5667“Oh,” Ellie quietly mumbled. She hardly touched her pizza, but I eventually got her giggling and we reminisced on good ol’ times.

IMG_5668“Tonight I was thinking we could have a BFF movie night – you know, just you and me?” I asked. Ellie smiled. “That sounds great. I’m so glad to hang around people who really like me,” she added with a touch of sadness. Her eyes seemed faraway for a minute, thinking about Chloe, very confused.

IMG_5669After we ate, she excused herself.

IMG_5671“Bye, bestie! Talk to you later!” I called cheerily.

“Bye, bestie.”

IMG_5672I felt terrible inside! How can I go on with this?! I asked myself. I felt alone. Was I doing the right thing?

To be continued!
