Hey there! I’m Madi, the blogger behind Delightful World of Dolls.

I’m an 18-year-old blogger, writer, and of course, doll collector.

I’ve loved dolls (especially American Girl dolls) for as long as I can remember. When I was nine, I started this blog to share that love.

I love Jesus, music, adventure, and writing. Aside from running DWOD, I work on my series of historical novels, and when I’m not doing that, I’m enjoying all the adventures life has to offer.

I live in Florida with my dad, mom, older sister, and younger brother.
I’ve been running Delightful World of Dolls since November 4, 2012, when I was nine.
I’m homeschooled!
My birthday is June 27, and I’m 18.
I wore glasses for years, but now I wear contacts.
I had Invisalign instead of braces (and the worst teeth you could’ve ever imagined!)
My favorite colors are solid pink, cyan, and dark red.
I love Christian hip-hop/rap, Christian EDM, and instrumental war/epic music—think super adrenalized movie soundtracks!
I was born in Texas and lived there until December 2014, when we moved to Florida.

  I’m in the same boat – I’ve known an atheist friend online for over four years now. The big thing is to just show her the love of God – 1 Corinthians 13:8.
  Don’t try to be too pushy – just “plant seeds.” Little seeds grow into big ones! At my church, one girl witnessed to a business man about Jesus, but the man just cussed her out and didn’t accept Him. The next day, the business man walked onto a bus. Another one of the people from my church was sitting on that bus, and they too witnessed to the man. The man broke into tears and told the person how someone had asked him that same exact question (“Has anybody ever told you that God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life?”) just yesterday. That entire night he couldn’t sleep because he had been so bothered by the question. The little seed that girl had planted grew, and so that person on the bus was able to lead the business man to the Lord right then and there.
  So even if you don’t get her saved at once, just plant little seeds. Water those seeds and show her how abundant your life is and how blessed you are living for God. Show her the love of God in everything you do, and if you do say something, definitely don’t try to be too pushy. You never know if one day when she’s older and living far away, someone witnesses to her again when her life is headed downward. She’ll remember you and the seeds you planted in her heart. The seeds will have grown by then, and she might be finally ready to accept Jesus into her heart. :D

  Hey! I’m great! Thank you SO much! I wasn’t able to go to church that week because my mom was really sick and my dad had video calls with our missionaries in Pakistan, and same thing this week. Makenzie’s internship is in Kids Club and I’d have to have an adult responsible for me in main service, so I haven’t gone to Sunday morning in a while. ? Hi! I was just scrolling through youtube when I found this website after watching “The Goodbye.” I was absolutely amazed by incredible stopmotion! You really do put a ton of effort into your videos. Although I have my own beliefs and I’m not a Christian, I love to read and write just like you… and I love dolls! Although I don’t get many gifts and things like that, I have a Barbie and two Equestria Girls. No American Girls–yet, but I’m hoping!

  Yes, I have plenty of advice for you! First of all, pray and ask God to help you do what He's leading you to do in situations. Always remember that no one makes an impact going with the flow of everyone else, and Christians weren't born to fit in. No matter what it may mean in the moment; embarrassment, awkwardness, etc; do what you feel God is leading you to do and watch Him bless you beyond belief for it!

      Go to where you will edit your page. At the top right hand corner of your screen you will see a drop down that says “Screen Options”. Click on it and select “Discussion” and “Comments”. Below where you type your page, you’ll see a checkbox where you can allow comments. If you need anymore help, lemme know!

Hey Madi I never knew we were so alike. I’m homeschooled I LOVE JESUS and on the list of your hobbies all of them are like me except gymnasts if I could I’d definitely do it though. I am 12 and I’m 5′ 7″.
Another really funny thing is I have a little sister named Maddy and her birthday is June 27 and she loves dolls but she’s 8 years old.
