HOTH Season 3 Cast

Cécile Rey plays our protagonist, Issa Winger. Issa is a twelve-year-old foster child under the legal guardianship of Jackson and Amy Taylor. She’s a daring, usually friendly, determined and committed girl who likes to meet her goals. When her old rival from the Foster Care Act Center (see season 2) was welcomed into the Taylor’s home as a fellow foster child, her finally stable life was changed for the worse as their rivalry continued — at a level Issa never dreamed. In season 3, tragedy strikes, secrets are revealed, and her decision whether or not to continue the rival war determines how this season will play out.

Molly McIntire plays Issa’s rival, Connor Cavanaugh — or is it DaCosta? Connor is a twelve-year-old foster child who just came under the guardianship of the Taylors. He’s a self-confident, cool, popular kid who always has a plan up his sleeve to get what he wants. After being pleasantly surprised that Issa was under the Taylor’s roof as well, he took the rival war farther than he ever dreamed in season 2. A radical change in his personal life drives him to do things he never thought he would, and when his secrets are revealed — he knows they will destroy him. He wages war with all his previous rivalry hatred and fights with all he’s got to keep the secrets from leaking further.

Ellie Mae Ling plays Lexi Taylor, the Taylor’s adopted daughter and Issa’s best friend. Lexi is the twelve-year-old adopted daughter of Jackson and Amy who loves her friends. She’s an excited, friendly, creative girl who never wants to make anyone upset. This leads to double-mindness and trouble making decisions for herself — she doesn’t want to get in trouble or hurt people, but what is she supposed to choose when those she loves are on opposite sides of a war?

Jasmine Copeland plays Amy Taylor, Emma and Lexi’s mom and Issa and Connor’s foster mom. Amy is the wife of Jackson Taylor with a daughter, Emma, in college. She loves children and even after having one of her own, decided fostering and adopting was something God called her and her husband to do. Sometimes wrestling all the kiddos into shape with everything under the sun they get themselves into is hard work, but she truly makes a difference in each of their lives and hearts — even if she doesn’t know how to do that sometimes. Especially when secrets and the loss of one of her foster children are at stake.

Emelie Bennett plays double-duty and acts as both Sarah Parker and Jackson Taylor. Sarah Taylor is the twelve-year-old friend of Issa and Lexi, and Connor’s accomplice in season 2. After being forced and manipulated by Connor to do the unthinkable, she wants what he bribed her with — which just might reveal her dirty act to the friend she hurt most by it.

Jackson Taylor is the husband of Amy Taylor. A strong, wise man and caring father as well as foster father, he leads his family the best he knows how — even when the foster child he so badly wanted to adopt as his own might be taken away from him forever.

Delaney Clark plays Bully, a 14-year-old boy who only shows up in one scene but sets the stage for Issa’s personal turning point. Del jumped at the chance to play the bully — mostly because she got to be rough ‘n tough without getting in trouble. ? I don’t think we expected any different.

Chloe Carter plays the vet, although she preferred a much more dramatic part. ALSO DUN DUN DUN DOES COCONUT DIE OR NOT?! :o >:)

Maryellen Larkin plays Emma Taylor, our antagonist. Emma is the twenty-one-year-old daughter of Jackson and Amy Taylor. She’s inquisitive, curious, clever, determined, and classy. Emma has been studying at college to be a detective and jumps at the chance to solve her first case when she returns home for Thanksgiving break — and finds more secrets and money than she ever dreamed.

My lovely IRL friend, Marissa, very kindly and generously let me borrow Maryellen for a few weeks to shoot season 3 of HOTH. You’re so awesome, Marissa!! Thank you!

Aaaaand here’s the HOTH season 3 poster! *screams* I’m so excited!

Twelve-year-old foster child Issa Winger is just trying to get over the tragedy that shook her heart when her best friend’s older sister returns from college on break and discovers secrets about her rival’s past — right as she and him begin to drop the hatred. When secrets are revealed and war is waged, Issa, Connor, and Lexi must join forces to fight for family and friendship.

Oh, one more thing!

I’m still shooting season 3, so the first part of HOTH won’t be up until I’m done with all the parts.
