What Molly is Thankful for this Year (Mainly Food)

Hello, people! Molly here! Are you as hungry as me?! It’s Thanksgiving! Can you believe it?! I think 2016 has been the fastest year ever. Christmas is just a month away already!

Mom is gone on Thanksgiving vacation and more ministry trips, guys. (She was going to take me, since I’m the next one in line for a Texas trip, but at the last minute she decided against it. :( Oh, well.) Right now Mom is around 14 hours away! Guess what that means?

Freedom!

Just kidding. Unfortunately, Cécile is keeping me in line. ;)

Mom thinks I look sweet and innocent in this outfit…

… But don’t be fooled. I have my mischievous moments! ;)

Coconut is here with me today! She looks sweet, too, but don’t be fooled by that either. She definitely has her mischievous moments!

She sends a message to all the dogs out there… “Arf, arf, rrrruff! Bark, arf! Woof!”

I don’t know what she’s saying, do you? I’m sure your dogs will interpret it.

Today, in no particular order, I’ll be sharing with y’all what I am thankful for this year!

I’m thankful for FOOD! MWAHAHAHAAAA! GIMME GIMME GIMME!

Ahem. Yes. Food. Food is AMAZING. And today we’ll be eating a lot of it. ;)

I’m thankful for my two sisters, Josefina and Cécile! I remember when it was just us three – we had so many amazing memories together, and you can view them all by checking out our archives from December 2012 to June 2013!

I’m thankful for my best friend, Emelie Bennett! She’s always here for me and gives the greatest advice. I don’t know anybody on earth who’s a greater friend to me than her! And vice versa. ?

Of course, I can’t say one without the others! I’m so very thankful for all of my wonderful friends and family!

Even Jasmine. We can really butt heads sometimes, but if she were to ever disappear from my life, I don’t know what I’d do.

But you can’t tell her I said that! ;)

I’m thankful for my doll, Molly-Anne. She’s a mini me – literally! Fun fact: Madison owned her for an entire year before she even got me, so when I arrived on Christmas Day, 2011, I had a doll right from the start! Molly-Anne and I have had a lot of adventures together – and she’s had some sneaky ones on her own, too. ;) I love her so much!

Yes, I’m even thankful for you, Coco! ;) Oh, who am I kidding – of course I am! You’ve been my pet ever since June 27, 2012.

I love you so much, you naughty little pup! ;)

I’m thankful for our freedom and I’m proud to be an American girl! I think these lyrics (from a song I’ve forgotten the title to ?) sum up my thankfulness to be an American perfectly…

I’m proud to be an American
Where at least I know I’m free
And I won’t forget the men who died
And gave that right to me
And I’ll proudly stand up

I’m thankful for these swingy thingies! Yes, I know they’re called swings, but “swingy thingies” is what I like to call ’em. ;) I love swinging on them – it’s SO fun! Just like Mom, I get a lot of my thinking done here. I’m also thankful that she and her entire family did the work of putting them all together last year – it looked like absolute chaos it looked like hard work but fun!

I’m thankful for my room! Even though I share it with my sisters and friends (having six other roommates is quite interesting ?), I love it! It’s really cool to have my own bed, and it’s also great that we all share each others’ clothes. I like the happy, content feeling I have when we’re all together, laughing and having fun in our room. Like I said; I love it!

I’m thankful to be a part of Tryout Team #14 with my teammates Demetria and Mae! I’m super excited to begin training with them in 2017 for the Dollympic Team Trials. It’s a privilege to be able to train with these phenomenal gymnasts, shoot for the stars, and try to land a spot for the real Dollympic Team together. Who’s looking forward to see one of us become the Dollympic 2020 champion? :D

I’m thankful for my health! Jesus bore my sickness and disease so I wouldn’t have to. When sickness tries to come, it has to go with prayer and the mentioning of God’s Word! Speaking of which…

I’m so very thankful for God’s Word! These aren’t dead pieces of paper, y’all. The Bible isn’t a religious document for religious fanatics. This is the living Word of God, and if you aren’t reading it every single day, you should seriously start! ;) And if you haven’t started, check this out.
