Man, have I ever missed you guys!

For those who are curious, my parent-advised-and-enforced blogging and writing break is going well.

And I just turned fifteen! When I return from my break, I’ll definitely make a post about what I’ve been doing and about my birthday.

But for now, I’m headed to Texas for our annual summer ministry trip! I’m taking Ellie with me for plenty of pictures.

By the time you’re reading this, I’ll already be there, so I’ll get to any comments just as soon as I can!

I’ve been aching to dress my dolls and do their hair and take more photos, but between all the huge trip prep and remembering to get some rest, it just didn’t happen.

So instead, I want to blast from the past some previous DWOD stuff I’ve made. I love reading old posts, even when they aren’t mine; I’m always inspired!

I hope the following are fun to laugh at or receive a boost of creativity from!

1. MOLLY-ANNE’S BEAUTIFUL DAY CHALLENGE

Back in 2013, Molly-Anne challenged all of you to go outside and enjoy God’s creation.

All participants who completed the challenge got a shout-out in the post… and they still will!

2. THE OLD COLLAB BLOG, 7 RANDOM DOLLY’S

I don’t think any of us recognized the spelling error in the title, but we sure had fun!

Also back in 2013, I joined a collab blog. Check out our cringey videos! (Be sure to hit “Older Posts” to see all of them). All posts by the author “Molly The Awesome” are from Molly. ?

The collab blog did, however, shut down a month later because everyone got too busy.

3. CHLOE’S ONE LAST SUMMER ADVENTURE

I literally daydream about how much fun I had making this post. I still think one or two of the photos in there are some of the best I’ve taken!

4. MINI DOLL MONDAY SAYS GOODBYE

I don’t know why I thought swirly text and thick drop shadow was good graphic design. XD

This post recaps all of the Mini Doll Mondays. I had a blast making every single one of them.

I really miss MDMs, but hint hint…

5. THE HOMELESS SERIES (Parts 1, 2, & 3)

Tova is a Disney Animator Collectors doll (or something like that) I got from a Christmas toy fest at my kid’s church in 2015.

I had my eye on her literally the entire service, thinking up this photostory series in my head. When my age group was called to pick a toy, I plucked her from the pile like she was already mine. ?

Everyone who didn’t know I was a doll collector went like O_o

Her arrival brought on much drama, miscommunication, crying, and backstory flashbacking.

You know, ordinary DWOD photostory elements.

6. I’M AN ACTRESS AND YOU KNOW IT AGSM

I… don’t even know.

It was the best stopmotion I had done at the time, though, and one in which I came at it like a serious film director (I treat myself like an adult in my head ?).

I took a week off of school, made time for it every day, and told myself it was serious! I even threw a plot twist in there.

Granted, the plot twist wasn’t foreshadowed, there was a lot of info-dumping, and the character arcs moved way too quickly, but I had fun.

7. SILENT NIGHT – YEAH, RIGHT! PHOTOSTORY

Featuring: my nonexistent poetry skills.

Look out for this line: “Are they dead?” Chloe asked in glee. She had heard of dramatic deaths on Christmas, but never got to witness one.

I just reread it and LAUGHED SO HARD. How heartless! ?

8. A DOLL’S FIRST DAY OF HOMESCHOOL (PARTS 1 & 2)

I still don’t know why I thought having three different swirly fonts was good graphic design either, but hey! We’re all learning. ?

9. WHAT THE AMERICAN GIRL WEBSITE LOOKED LIKE IN AUGUST 2011

I made a video of the AG website when I was eight, taking viewers through the different sections.

I pretended like I was talking to an audience, having no idea that years later, I’d actually post it!

10. A NEW CHAPTER

My birthday post about turning thirteen! Wow, thirteen seems so young now. I turned fifteen on the 27th of June!

Now I have to find and go through my various online profiles and change my age. That always takes forever. XD

I hope that if you check out any of these old things, you enjoy them! It took me three hours to go through posts and pick just ten. ?
