Hey, everybody! Madi here! How is everyone? Sorry I’ve been a little inactive – Yes, we travelled to Texas! We’re going back to Florida very soon, and I just wanted to let you girls know I didn’t drop of the face of the earth! LOL! As soon as I get to Florida, I will reply and answer all of your questions from your comments. :-)
I spent 4 nights at my BFF’s house, and it was so fun, from getting completely muddy to trying to swim in a freezing pool (we jumped in, sort of, and crawled right back out! XD) to watching movies. (From The Croods, Penguins of Madagascar, and the Teen Beach Movie to Home Alone 3, Numerous episodes of K.C. Undercover, Cinderella 2015(We saw it at the movies with the new FROZEN FEVER SHORT!!!)(Again, the parentheses in a parentheses!) and Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London! We actually watched that movie 2 times during the sleepovers. It was the last movie we watched – this morning, actually, before I left.
We played with their puppies and their squirrel, made a purse (sort of XD) and wrote a classified story – I can’t give away what its about, or post it on here. Or any where. It’s classified. ;) It was so good – we’re working on a sequel for it now and will continue it when I’m in Texas next. :-).
We had fun every single moment – even when we did school together! I brought my school so I could do it when they did theirs (we’re both home-schooled) and it was just, so fun. My time with them was amazing, and I never want to forget it.
Before going to my BFF’s house, I had an appointment and got pretty good reports! Last time, they found inflammation in my eye and prescribed eye drops. Now, my eye is doing much better but it’s developed a reaction to the drops, so we tapered off quickly and found a closer Ophthalmologist (eye doctor?) in Florida that can monitor me. :-)
I didn’t take any pictures of Ellie at my BFF’s house (sorry!), but I did manage to get a pic of her here.
Wait, what? Who’s Ellie, you may ask? I didn’t get… ANOTHER DOLL, DID I?!
Then who’s Ellie?
Well, I’ve been thinking. Joy doesn’t really suit her. I only named her that because I really liked the name Joy and couldn’t wait for another doll to name her that.
But lately, I’ve been realizing Joy isn’t really right for her. Plus, it doesn’t have a nickname! :o :'( JoJo, JJ, or Joyie (?) didn’t seem right to me for nicknames.
Plus, she was really screaming for a name that ended with the “ee” sound.
Maisie was PERFECT for her, but I wanted it to be original since Among The Dolls has already used that name. I wanted something… different.
With the help of my two BFF’s, we’ve come up with a new name for her.
ELLIE!
So her full name is now Ellie Ivy Ling! The Joy was been booted out completely. I didn’t want her to have 2 middle names. :P So, Ellie is now totally happy with her new name! I have to change the Hang on to Hope cast poster with her new name soon.
Well, that’s about all for my life! I’ll try to post when I get back to Florida!
(I. Hate. That. Place. -__-)
Lovingly and happily yours,
Madison
Okay, it sounds like you had a FANTASTIC time, and I really enjoyed hearing about your trip. :-D
I have never seen either of the Cody Banks movies, but I’m sure if you took over 1,000 screenshots (wow!), it must be good. ;-)
And Ellie is such a great new name for Joy, I think it fits her well!
*Sunny
P.S. I really hope you’ll get to go back to Texas soon!! :-D
I’m so glad you liked hearing about the trip! I’m back in Florida now, and the minute I stepped in my house I almost cried because I was sad to be here – I REALLY miss Texas. In case you couldn’t tell. XD
Oh, it is good ;) . I just watched it for the 5th time yesterday night! It was so good, and at the end of it I got really sentimental and wish they made a 3rd one! :'(
Ellie says thanks! :D I think it fits her too! ^_^
P.S. Thanks! I think I’m going back for Summer vacation! *YAYYYYYYY*
Definitely!
Aw, I’m really sorry. :-(
XD
That is SO great that you love it that much! And you never know, maybe someday they will make a third one. ;-)
You’re welcome, Ellie!! :-D
*Sunny
P.S. YAY!!! So happy for you!!! :-D
:D
Thanks – I’ve been in Florida for over half a year now, I’m just NOT happy here. :-(.
I hope they will! Except the actor Frankie Muniz grew up (he turns 25 this December 5th,)(No I’m not a stalker I just looked him up in the dictionary of my computer. XD.), got married and is living in Arizona, so now that he’s settled I doubt he’ll act anymore :-(.
:D :D
P.S. Thanks so much!! :D
Aw, again, I’m really sorry. :-( Do you think you’ll ever get used to it?
Wow…25! Yeah, I highly doubt it too, which is too bad, especially since you liked it that much. But that’s pretty cool though. :-) I just looked up the movies on Wikipedia, and they sound really great! :-)
*Sunny
Thanks, again. :-( . I don’t know…it’s not really a bad place, but it’s just not…my home. Not yet, anyways. I’m trying to warm up to it, but, well… Nothing strikes me as, “AWESOME! I LOVE THIS PLACE!”
Yeah, it’s too bad ;( . You should watch them some time! I don’t know how good the 1st one is,(’cause again, I’ve never seen it) but you probably already know what I’ll say about the second one – IT IS AWESOME!!!!!! XD.
I totally get it. And I’m glad you’re at least trying to warm up to it. I’ll pray for you!! :-D
That is so cool! I watched a trailer for the second one earlier, and it did look cool. Those karate moves the girl used…AWESOME. XD
*Sunny
Thanks so much for praying! <3
He he he! XD :D :D :D
You’re welcome! <3 :-D :-D :-D
LOL! XD
*Sunny
:) :) :)
And oh, by the way, I love the name Maisie for Ivy, too. If I ever got her (or an Asian MAG), I would name (or re-name) her that! :-)
*Sunny
Yeah, isn’t it a beautiful name?
It really is!! My aunt has a dog named Maisy, and she is sooo cute! She’s a poodle mix, I think. :-)
*Sunny
Aw! Maisy (the dog) sounds so cute! My grandparents had a dog named Daisy (haha, Maisy and Daisy) and she was a beagle mix. She’s passed, though, I really miss her. :-( She was so sweet.
She is!! She’s really old though (like 16 or 17), but to look at her you wouldn’t know it! She is a very active dog! :-D
LOL, Maisy and Daisy! That’s funny. ;-) Daisy sounds super cute, it’s too bad she’s gone now.
Are you more of a dog person or a cat person? I’m definitely more of a dog person. :-)
*Sunny
Wow! That’s great she’s so active – IS SHE HEALTHY? :D
LOL! ^_^ Yeah, my brother REALLY misses her.
A mix of both – it’s a tie if they’re both babies! Puppies and kittens…so adorable…however, if it’s a bratty spoiled cat, I’m more of a dog person, but if it’s a viscous kinda ugly-lookin’ dog, then I’d be a cat person. So it just depends on what kind of dog or cat. Lol. So I really like both! :-)
Yup, she is! She takes medicine to help her get around easier, but yeah! For the most part she is healthy. :-D
LOL! Aw, that’s sad. Sorry to hear that. :-( Were they playmates?
Haha, that’s good! I think I’d probably be like that too, but maybe I’d still like dogs just a little bit more. XP I think the reason I don’t like cats is because two of my aunts and uncles have them, and every time someone goes to pet them they run away…so yeah. XD
*Sunny
That’s good she is mostly healthy! :D
Well, my little brother was sometimes scared because of her barking, but most of the time, he loved her and played with her a lot.
LOL! XD At our old house, a white tom cat would also come into our big backyard and think it was his territory. He came in the house a lot, and my brother was a little scared of him, but what was funny is that when we fed his chilli, he threw it up! We fed him chicken, and he didn’t like that. We fed him milk, and he thought he was “too good” to drink it. XD. He was a very proud, snobby cat. ;)
I think so too!! :-D
Aww, that’s cute! I can understand why he’d be scared of the barking, but I’m glad they loved each other. ;-)
LOL!!! That is SO funny! What a snobby, stuck-up cat. XD :-D
*Sunny
:D :D
Hehe! Yeah, he’d always let her lick his plate when he was done with lunch. LOL :)
IKR? XD :D.
LOL!!! :-)
Yes!! XD
*Sunny
XD :-) :-) :-)
Where in Texas are you visiting? Because I live in Texas!
We were visiting my old house! We are back in Florida now though, sorry I didn’t see this comment sooner! :-(
Aww man! I liked her name Joy! :( Oh well its your decision.
Aw, sorry :-(.
OH I LOVE THE NAME ELLIE! My one year old nieces name is Elena *EEE-LAY-NUH* And we call her Ellie or El Bell :D Maybe your Ellie can be a nick name for something like Eleanor or Elena XD. I think that name does really suit her!
Thanks! Hehe! That’s cool you have a niece named Elena – that’s a gorgeous name!
Hi Mya! It’s from picgifs.com.
I think Ellie’s a really nice name.:)
By the way, I’ve nominated you for the Grateful Blogger Tag on my blog!:)
Thanks! ~Ellie~
Thank you so much Nikki! :D
~Me~
Hey! I like that name, Ellie. I’m sorry about your eyes- I know from pink eye that eye drops can sting.
Joy is actually short for Joyce, which can be short for Jocelyn. But you already have a Jocelyn. :)
Yeah, I hate the stinging. :P . Wow, really? I never knew Joy was short for that! Cool! :D
It could be, yeah. Sorry, my name is Jocelyn :)
Ellie really fits her so well, though!
I have a mini doll named Jocelyn! ^_^
Ellie says thanks :-).
