So, today’s super duper play idea is to re-arrange your doll room. You know, that little space, corner, or shelf you have for your dolls. After a while, it might get messy and un-organized. First of all, spiffy it up. Hang all the clothes on the hangers, make your dolls beds. Find a small bin and put all the hair accessories, ribbons, brush, hair picks, hair elastics, etc. in there. Find another bin for all the shoes. Stick ’em under your dolls clothes in their hanging closet (find a doll-sized box, ask an adult to help you push a small wooden rod through, hang some hangers on it and ta-da! Paint or decorate if you’d like.) and there you go!
Now, after that’s all done, here comes the fun part.
Ready for this?
It’s time to re-arrange!
Here was Jasmine and I’s old room when we first moved in on June 27th (please excuse the terrible quality! This was taken with Madison’s iPod touch when she got it for her brithday, June 27th.)
And our new room! (Ah, much better quality!)
We made an old box into a restroom, and an extra place to keep our few hangers (we only have a couple of outfits, and our PJ’s are folded and put away)
You could use a small bag or box to keep spare outfits and old pJ’s.
Keep small accessories on a small box or doll-sized drawer.
Keep a doll brush (This plastic one is only for pretend! Use a real, wig-brush for your dolls hair, ’cause the plastic will frizz it and make it weak!) and spare hair elastics on another small box or dresser, too.
Now, get creative.
Move beds around. Stack boxes. Fold outfits. Arrange tables or chairs. Want that hand-mirror on the wall for a doll-sized mirror? Go for it, just ask an adult before you hammer in anything. Put up some posters. Make some beds! Make it the cutest, most amazing doll space ever.
Your doll will love it so much, they’ll jump on their new beds!
(yes, our pillows are made out of socks with stuffing in them. The socks are clean, and they’re actually quite cozy!)
And there you have it. Re-arranging your doll room stress-free!
~Love,
Emilie
and Jasmine!
P.S. Wonder what the empty space we used to live in looks like now? Here!
I LOVE your new bedroom!! It looks like so much fun! :D
~Jaclynn~
Thank you so much! It is VERY fun :D:D:D
~Emilie and Jasmine
I love this! My dolls just have two rocking chairs, a closet, and shelves for beds, so ther’s not much re-arranging to do, but I reallly love what youd did! My favorite photo is the jumping on the bed one. I love how you did it! :)
Thank you so much! Aw, that’s OK. You could make some super duper crafts and decorate your doll room with those, though! :D LOL, yeah, we like them jumping on the bed! :) :D
Looks fun! Except shouldn’t Jasmine share a room with Cecile to avoid the top of your desk blowing up from arguments? XD Then Molly and Emilie could share with Josie. :)
I totally agree! I’ve thought about that a lot, actually :D
~Jaclynn~
Lol XD That’s a really good idea! Though, for the story of how Jasmine becomes nicer, she’s gotta share a room with Jasmine. :) Thanks for suggesting that though!! Emilie would like it with Josefina and Molly. :D
