HOTH Finale Sneak-Peeks

Hello, extraordinary person! I hope you’re having a phenomenal Monday. ‘Cause I am. And even if you aren’t, I hope this cheers you up! ♥

I’ve been working hard the past few days on the season 2 finale of Hang on to Hope. I had a goal of getting it done by last Friday, but as you can see, that just didn’t happen. ? Out of nowhere, unexpected things sprang up and I underestimated the amount of time it would take to get all the dolls and props ready. :?

At first I felt like a failure because I had said the finale was going to be ready by the Friday after my four-year blogging anniversary, and when it wasn’t, I was sorely disappointed. I sincerely apologize for letting you all down. :( But sometimes, in life, you have to be flexible. I’ve accomplished a few other things I had on my goal list, so at least I got some stuff done. :D

What took up most of my time was the two-week Bible school session I took. But this Sunday morning, I graduated! It’s a relief to have those five to six hours a day back to work on everything! (Don’t get me wrong, though, I was very grateful to get to go. ;) )

Anyway, I’m sure you’re dead tired of hearing me ramble about why there wasn’t a HOTH finale on Friday. I just wanted to share my heart with you and let y’all know that I have been working as much as I can on it – and even if I wasn’t able to get it all done by last Friday, I should have it up this week. Well, I better, because next week is going to be crazy with trying to make posts during Thanksgiving and vacation trips to Texas. ?

I have a few sneak-peek pictures (and other cool ones) I wanted to share with you today…

First of all, LOOK AT THOSE LIGHT STREAKS! I DID IT, GUYS! No computer editing here like I did with Jazzy’s pictures. I was so excited to have caught some light streaks!

It was late in the evening while I was taking the pictures for the first part of the finale, and I saw this patch of my backyard where the last bits of golden sunlight were hitting and would soon leave.

I decided to try again some golden-hour photography and accomplish some light streaks, and I was so happy with how my pictures turned out! Do you think they’re an improvement from the last time I tried that with Ellie?

I think Emelie makes a great spy, don’t you? (Don’t forget to vote on which spelling of her name you like best… the poll closes tomorrow!)

I was also particularly liking the outfit Ellie was dressed in for the first part of the finale, so before the golden sunlight disappeared I took some pictures of her, too. Want to see them?

No light streaks, but I love how golden everything is! Isn’t her outfit just darling? I think so. ;)

*GASP* What do we have here? A secret meeting between Connor and his accomplice… the spy… under the cover of darkness? :o

Her hair is on fire! ? Just kidding. It’s from the orange-yellow mosquito light thingy we have. :P

Here’s a pretty shot of Cécile as Issa that I took, but it’s not included in the finale…

… However, this one is! Could those be… glasses on the ground? *claps hand over mouth* I better sign off before I give everything away. XD
