Happy Resurrection Day / Easter! Today we celebrate what Jesus did for us 2,018 years ago.

That’s what I love about Christianity. Every other false religion is about what people can do for its god.

But with Jesus… it’s about what He already did for us. And thousands of years later, it’s still relevant, because Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)

Today is also a very special day for me because it’s the one-year anniversary of the release of the most shared thing I’ve ever put out: The Goodbye!

The Goodbye is a fourteen-minute AGSM film about one of my dolls who goes back in time to Bible days and learns what Easter is about and how that’s still relevant for us today.

The Goodbye has (at this time) 650,000 views (.7 million!), 1,700 comments, and 6,500 likes. Hundreds of people (that we know of) have publicly stated that they gave their lives to Jesus at the end, with an estimated many more who never said anything.

And I’m not saying that to go “yay me”. I’m some fourteen-year-old kid who took a week off of homeschool to put this thing together with an all-nighter and tons of coffee and it turned out pretty stinky. There’s no “yay me” anywhere in that.

All I wanted to do was be able to lead someone to Jesus last Easter. I didn’t even have a goal of people I wanted to reach. All I did was honor God with what I had, and look at what He did through it!

This year, I want this video that shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ to reach 1 million views.
