I am planning an AWESOME photo story series. It’s called Hang on to Hope, and I’ve already written the first three parts of it! I’m really excited about it. Today is my brother’s birthday, and him, me, and a couple of friends went to the park! We just came home, so there’s not any time to prepare for HOTH tonight (you know how mom’s are. They get to talking and it’s really late when you get home! ;)).
But what I did have time for, was a quick photoshoot of Emelie! I took these photos before we left, and am just uploading them…
She is playing a man in HOTH (Hang on to Hope) and what she was wearing was just too beautiful to take off without some pictures. She looked so cute, and she was just dying for a photoshoot.
So how do you deal with a demand like that?! Especially since this exact doll just traveled nearly 2,500 miles round trip with you a week or two ago.
I mean, all my other dolls want attention too.
But… the law of supply and demand are unbalanced here, so we deal with what we got.
AKA, “COME ON EMELIE LET’S DO A PHOTOSHOOT YOU ARE SO ADORABLE!!!!!”
This one is edited, it makes her eyes pop out. I really like it!
This white flower stretchy headband is from the Etsy shop That’s Lolli. I was supposed to get it for Christmas from my brother, but it came before we moved, and got all packed. So, we FINALLY found them just a few days ago! It’s so beautiful, and I 100% love it and recommend it. It fits over the doll’s head perfectly and stays on without any trouble.
We have a beautiful white rose growing in our backyard, and it matched Emelie’s headband so I thought…PICTURES!!!!! XD

Strange, that no longer looks like a rose with the pollen in the middle. It does from the back though. We’ll just call it the flower from now on, no longer a rose. XD

Can I just tell you how much I LOVE this one? She’s picking up her skirt, it’s blowing in the wind, and she looks so thoughtful. I’m seriously thinking of making this her new profile picture, but there’s another one I had in mind (read on.)
She looks so cocky and cute in this one!
This looks like it could be the poster for some photostory series in the future, the title involving a road, path, or something similar. XD

If the rest of your doll is ugly, just experiment with doll feet. It’s interestingly unique. So even if you have an ugly doll, her feet will provide you a photo shoot. XD
She is so stinkin’ cute. I wish this one was focused more! :(
Emelie was so roasting hot after standing in the sun for what felt like hours but was only ten minutes, and wanting to jump in the pool! I caught her just in the nick of time.
It was a slow motion movie scene, me screaming “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO” in slow motion reaching my hand out to get her. XD
*no dolls were harmed in the makings of this photo. THIS DIDN’T REALLY HAPPEN*
I did however let her stick her feet in the pool!

Now that she is inside she is much cooler. Ahhh, AC… ;)
This is the one I edited, I am THINKING of making this her profile photo but I’m just not sure! Which one? This one or…
…This one? I CAN’T CHOOSE!
Anyways, get ready to be blown away with awesomeness in the next day or two, when the first part should be up. If not, definitely this week if nothing traumatically crazy happens. I’m really excited about it. I think y’all will really like this one – I know it will be fun for me at least!

I, as a doll owner, know exactly how it is when your doll looks so cute/and or pretty that you just HAVE to do a photoshoot or something. It’s irresistible! :D
