When I click it, a blank screen pops up, then after a while of repetitive loading, it finally puts a little icon that resembles a bent page in the middle, I don’t know if you can see it though.

I’ve tried it again multiple times, and even quit the browser, reloaded it, and tried it again. I re-booted my whole computer and tried it again!

Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a certain video played thingy I need installed to my Mac to play it or something? Feel free to discuss in the comments below.


EDIT – Alright, Ladies! I e-mailed American Girl and they responded this morning! Here is what I said:

available. Thank you for replying to both of those! As annoying as it
might seem, I have yet another question. Your new American Girl Magazine
activity, “Yay! Crochet!” will NOT work for me. I have a high-internet
computer, a Mac to be exact, and my browser is up-to-date. Many other
girls are having the exact same problem – after a while of repetitive
loading on a white blank screen, an icon resembling a bent page appears,
representing the page has become irresponsive. Here is the link to the

I have tried exiting out of my browser and trying it again. It did not
work. I re-booted my whole computer and it did not work. I tried two

Crochet! video.  If the video is not loading there are solutions your
parent can try.

1. Please go to and update your Flash Player.

2. Please clear your cache.
